And here I am, tearing up again thinking about this wonderful little novella! What a beautiful story of 2 people finding each other at exactly that right moment. Luken is probably one of the sweetest, swooniest, most caring characters I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Cadence is so strong and lovely. Together they just made my heart soar.In The Moment may be a novella but it packed more story into its pages than many full length novels I've read. I was so completely invested in Luken and Cadence, I could not put this book down. As much as I'd love to have more of their story I'm happy to picture the rest in my mind. I'm so overwhelmed with love for this book I wish it was available in paperback- it's definitely one I want to have sitting on my shelf.

Well written, great storyline, likable characters, and emotionally charged. A few twists and turns, and a few highs and lows. Alison has done it again.
I enjoy reading any thing this author writes. As soon as a book of hers comes out , i buy it. I know i will like it. I have read all of her books. Truly fell in love w present perfect and the dance.
This romance story has "Love" written all over it! It shows that love comes in all shapes and sizes and I love that two people battle together to find love in their lives at the most unexpected time. I'm so honored to read Alison's words yet again as they hold a special place deep in my heart! 💞
Sweet, but short read. 40 year old cancer survivor falls for 25 year old hottie. They click. Wishful that this happened in real life. Cute read
I have never teared up at a novella before. Ever. Luken is a dreamboat and just what Cadence needed to bring her back to life. I love Alison Bailey's books, and In the Moment was a beautifully written love story about making the most of the moments you have without looking forward or back.
Alison Bailey once again delivers a unique and wildly addicting story. I was captivated and sucked in immediately with her short story of Luken and Cadence. Her twist on the typical teacher/student romance was filled with equal parts swoon, steam and sweetness while giving us that hint of forbidden love we all crave.
I absolutely adored Alison's story, In the Moment - so much that I wouldn't be above begging for more from these incredible characters!
Once again, Ms. Bailey weaved her magic and made a would-have-been-serious-and-simple-story into a giddiness-inducing, fantasy-inspiring, sweet and romantic want-to-read-over-and-over-again time-worthy novel! Ahh, Luken, where can I find a guy like you? He knows what he wants despite his age. Cadence, you sweet girl! You’ve been through so much and yet love has found you again. Readers better not miss this one, it will make you believe that love knows no bounds and that when two people who are meant to be together, collide, an explosion like no other will happen and no one will be the wiser once cupid strikes his arrow.
