Teddy "Teddy Bear" Devane the man I love to hate is back. This time we get a look into his life, before meeting Mye Queen. Yep he was roguish, before Mye Queen too, however he actual seemed to have true feelings for Miss Priss. I almost felt sorry for him...ALMOST. I still believe he needs to be brought down a few pegs. Paul is alive in this installment, which is wonderful. No surprise that he really was a nice guy. He tried to hang with Teddy and Christian, however it just was not in his nature. My heart did break with his, when EJ disappeared. There's definitely some unfinished business in their situation and I was left with many questions. Especially knowing what the future holds for him, I sure hope there's a way to bring some closure. We see how Dorian and Jade got together. Poor Dorian, he really didn't have any game. Thank goodness Jade was checking for him too. This installment will have you laughing, fussing (some may even cuss) and dropping a tear or two. My eyes actually got watery for Teddy, go figure. It was definitely a page turner for me and a perfect introduction to the Pleasure Principle. I consider the whole series a must read. Bravo Brenda!!Product details

Brenda! Brenda! Brenda! You have once again managed to suck me into your world of fast paced literature and hold me captive. I loved this book. We got the chance to take it back to the days before Mye Queen was even a blip on the radar of Paul, Teddy, and Christian. We got to see how they all were as friends from the beginning. We learned of forbidden loves that Paul and Teddy secretly harbored. We learned about the two women EJ and Miss Priss who managed to bring these two men to their knees. And we got to see how Dorian and Jade came to be. I have to say that was one of the funniest parts to me. Cousin Quay had my doubling over with laughter. LOL!! And Dr. Love....WHEW!!! He was something kind of sexy!! LOL!! But, I am forever a fan of the Teddy Bear!!! -) There were so many things left unanswered and I cannot wait for the next book!! Great job Brenda!!! You definitely have a fan in me!!!
This book was so good , if allowed would rate it 10 stars. Brenda S. Lee outdid herself with this one. Absolutely loved seeing what the fellas was about prior to Mye Queen's arrival to FDC.. This book had me in tears from laughing so hard ( Dorian and Quay scene). We also met new characters EJ and Miss Priss who I want read more about so I hope Ms. Lee is working on their story along with Mr. Teddy story. Great Job!!!! Can't wait for next installment.
Brenda has done it again! In this book Brenda has given us a chance to get to know Teddy, Paul, Dorian and Christian before there Mye Queen days. It was really interesting to find out that they did have true love before the one and only Mye Queen. If your looking for a hot, sexy as hell comical read then this is the book to grab. As always job Well done Brenda Stokes Lee!!!
Where do I begin.... This is the book that started it all for me and Brenda Stokes Lee. I LOVE this author and this book/series! These are the guys that I went to college with and they are my frat brothers! I love them. They have their own personalities and they certainly aren't perfect! But oh boy are they FINE and HOT!!!! Once you pick this one up, you won't be able to quit thinking about these men or the lives that they live! LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!
I just finished the first book to this series and I am anticipating what is to happen in the upcoming books, its like I have a piece of the puzzle and am scrambling for the others, but the book was really good. To see how everyone is trying to navigate their way through life and love, trying to find that true happiness that we all want with someone is the truth. The sneakiness of how they had to contain their true feelings for one another in order not to hurt anyone else was humorous for me. I really wished that EJ would have told Paul that she was pregnant but then that wouldn't have made for good drama in the end I guess. The only issue I had was with the grammatical errors, there weren't many but there were enough to bother me. Other than that it was a good read.

Damn, Ms. Brenda Stokes Lee got skills. I've always had All Mye Queen's Men Volume 1 in my to read pile on my kindle, but decided to read The Naked Truth About Love today since it just came out. And apparently I didn't know what I was missing and I seem to be missing a lot.
Love, love, love love the book. The opening chapter alone says it all and lets you know whats to come and whats going to go down with these four fine brothas. Where were they when I was going to college, dang. All four guys had such good interaction Paul, Teddy, Christian and Dorian. They made me laugh, they got me excited, and they made me want to date them all. Although Dorian might need a bit of work. EJ and Ms. Priss as Teddy likes to call her, I love their friendship and what they offered to the story. As for the other girls, the Jezebel, Jaydan and Zoey the needy one, to name a few, as much as they weren't who they loved, they sure made the read interesting.
There was never a dull scene, moment or conversation that didn't have me glued to the words the author wrote. What I liked most of all, is that I enjoyed myself and had a few good laughs at some very funny moments and most importantly, it was a very sexy read. To the author, thanks for the read and the book.
